Cherry Berry sangria

Make 8 servings
Prep 5 minutes
Refrigerate 2 hours

Ingredients:
1 bottle of dry red wine such as Riojia
2 cups cherry-pomegranate juice or cranberry juice
1/2 cup Brandy
1/2 lb cherries pitted and halved
1 cup quartered strawberry 
3/4 cup blueberry 
2tbsp superfine sugar
1 can cold lemon lime soda

Directions:
In a large pitcher,  combine wine juice,  Brandy,  cherries,  strawberries and sugar.  Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Just before serving,  stir mixture and add lemon juice soda, serve over ice

Sweet spinach smoothie 

6 oz plain nonfat Greek yogurt
2 cups spinach leaves,  packed
1 ripped pear,  peeled,  cored and chopped
15 green or red grapes
2 tbsp chopped avocado
1 to 2 tbsp fresh squeeze lime juice 
Nutrition: 316 calories,  21 g protein,  52 g carbohydrate, 6g fat,  .9 saturated,  9g fiver, 115 mg sodium.  


Tropical morning smoothies

6 oz plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango
1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunk
1 frozen banana chopped
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
Nutrition: 368 calories,  22g protein,  600g carbohydrate, 7g fat (.9 saturated), 9g fiber,  68 g sodium.


PB&J smoothie

4 oz plain nonfat  Greek yogurt
2 cups chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana, chopped
2 tsp smooth peanut butter. 
1/2 cup ice
Nutrition: 327 calories, 18 g protein,  55g carbohydrate,  7g fat (1.4 saturated), 8g fiber,  84 mg sodium
